Free monthly walk discovering the 12th arrondissement

  • 23 Sep 2021
  • 10:30 AM - 2:00 PM
  • 12th Arrondissement

Our monthly walks are back for members!

COVID restrictions permitting, join us as we explore the 12th arrondissement on foot, and discover some of the district’s most popular attractions, including the famous Coulée Verte René-Dumont - a beautiful park, otherwise knows as the Promenade Plantée, built on top of an elevated, disused railway line.

We will head off from the Opéra Bastille at 10h30, and start walking along the Arsenal Basin, then over the Viaduc des Arts and on through the Marché d’Aligre.  We will continue through the Promenade Plantée, passing the unusual statues of the commissariat de police, before arriving at The Godfather restaurant – the venue for our final lunch stop, a welcome option for those who wish to stay a bit longer.

To reserve a place for lunch, please contact Sylvie whose details can be found in your latest Monthly Newsletter. Otherwise, there is no need to reserve for the walk - members should just turn up on time at the designated meeting place.
